Metal Braces
Types of Braces - Metal Braces
Metal braces are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces, along with various archwires, are used to straighten your teeth and correct your bite. With traditional metal brackets, you have the option of adding color ties for a more unique smile.
Self-ligating Braces
Self-ligating BracesSelf-ligating braces do not rely on elastic or steel ties to hold the archwire in place. Instead, the brackets have a metal door that closes over the wire, which means less friction or resistance between the braces and the wire, leading to greater efficiency.

Clear Braces
Types of Braces - Clear BracesClear braces are much less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, they are the choice of many older teens and adult patients who have concerns about the braces look. Clear braces are harder and more brittle than their metal counterparts, and therefore are typically used mostly of the upper teeth.

Invisalign®
InvisalignInvisalign® consists of a series of clear and removable aligners, each of which moves your teeth in small increments until the desired final result is achieved. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and taken out only to eat, brush, and floss. With the use of AcceleDent®during your treatment, you can significantly speed up your tooth movement and accelerate your treatment time by switching to a new aligner every week. During your initial visit, we can determine whether Invisalign® is a suitable option for you.
